Edisto Island is a small sea island 42 miles south of Charleston. It has a population of only about 1600 people which made it very easy to get around and park at many of the sites below. Some of the private homes on the island can only be accessed during the Edisto and Beyond Tour sponsored by the Edisto Island Museum which takes place in October.
