The museum is located at 713 Craven Street in the Beaufort Arsenal. The Arsenal could house as many as 250 men and a battery of 6 guns. The Beaufort Artillery was stationed here and played a role in defending Fort Beauregard on Bay Point during the Battle of Port Royal.
