It’s been a good last few months for Civil War Comics. This one was what is called a kickstarter where I agreed to donate a sum of money in exchange for a comic/comics. It is the story of Robert Smalls a slave who escaped to freedom with several friends and family by stealing the Confederate ship Planter from Charleston Harbor, a story that we covered in a previous post (link). The leather-bound graphic novel is in the center surrounded by limited editions of the four issues that make up the graphic novel. The graphic novel and editions of the four comics that are now available for sale to the public can be found on the Legion M website.
