During the Civil War General Hospitals of varying sizes were established across Central Virginia. The largest hospitals were located in Richmond with others established in Farmville, Lynchburg, Scottsville, Palmyra and Lynchburg. This ongoing series will cover all of these plus the Exchange Hotel and Museum in Gordonsville.
